Care and Cleaning
This product contains no user serviceable parts. Refer service to qualified service personnel.
Important: Always press PULSE /STOP button then unplug your juice extractor from
the outlet before cleaning.
CLEANING
• Completelydisassembleprocessorpartsbeforewashing.
• Rinsepartsimmediatelyafterprocessingforeasycleaning.
• Wipebaseandfeetwithadampclothanddrythoroughly.Stubbornspotscanberemoved
by rubbing with a damp cloth and a mild, nonabrasive cleaner. Do not immerse base in
liquid.
• Allremovablepartscanbewashedbyhandorindishwasher.Hand-washingofplasticparts
parts will help to maintain the food processor’s appearance.
• Ifwashingbyhand,fillworkbowlwithhoatsoapywaterandrapidlyraiseandlowercutting
blades and discs up and down on the center shaft.
• Ifwashinginadishwasher,placeremovablepartsontoprackonly—notinornearutensil
basket.
• Somestainingsofparasmayoccur.Ifso,makeapasteof2tablespoonsofbakingsodaand
1 tablespoon o f water. Apply to stains and let stand overnight. Rinse and dry.
• Donotuseroughscouringpadsorcleansersonanyplasticormetalpartstoclean.
• Donotallowbladesordiscstosoakinwaterforlongperiodsoftime.
• Remembertocleantheinternalshaftofthechoppingblade;useababybottlebrushto
remove any clogged food particles.
• Ifyouarehavingtroubleclosingthecoverovertheworkbowl,applyasmallamountof
vegetable oil to the rim of the cover and workbowl. This should make the pieces work
smoother when attaching the cover to the bowl.
