LP Tank

Exchange

•Many retailers that

sell grills

offer you the option of replacing

your empty

tank through an exchange

service. Use

only

those reputable exchange companies that inspect, precision

fill,

test and certify their

cylinders.

Exchange your tank only

for an

OPD

safety feature-equipped tank as described in

the

"LP Tank" section

this

manual.

•Always

keep new and exchanged

tanks

in upright

position

during

use, transit or storage.

•Leak

test new and exchanged

tanks

BEFORE

connecting

to grill.

Connecting Regulator To The

Tank

1. LP

tank

must

be properly secured onto

grill. (Refer

assembly section.)

Turn

all

control knobs

to the

OFF

position.

Turn LP

tank

OFF

turning OPD

hand wheel

clockwise

full

stop.

Remove

the protective cap from

tank valve.

Always

use

cap and strap supplied

with

valve.

LP Tank Leak

Test

For

your safety

•Leak

test

must

be repeated each time

tank is

exchanged

or refilled.

•Do not

smoke during

leak test.

•Do not use an open flame to check for gas leaks.

•Grill must

be leak tested outdoors in a

well-ventilated

area,

away from

ignition sources such

as gas fired or electrical

appliances.

During

leak test, keep

grill

away from open

flames or sparks.

•Use

a clean

paintbrush

and a 50/50

mild

soap and

water

solution. Brush

soapy

solution

onto areas

cated

by arrows

in figure below.

Leaks

are indicated by

growing

bubbles.

If “growing” bubbles appear do not use or move the

Hand-tighten

the

coupling

nut,

holding

regulator in a straight

line with LP

tank valve so as not to crossthread the

connection.

Nipple has to be

centered

into the

tank valve.

Cambio de botella LP

• Muchos vendedores que venden parrillas le ofrecen la

opción de rellenar su botella mediante un cambio. Use solo

compañías de cambio confiables que inspeccionen,

rellenen con precisión, comprueben y certifiquen sus

botellas. Cambie su botella solo por un tanque con OPD tal

y como se ha descrito en la sección "tanque LP" de este

manual.

• Mantenga siempre las botellas nuevas o cambiadas en

posición vertical durante el uso, tránsito o almacenaje.

• Compruebe las fugas de botellas nuevas o cambiadas

ANTES de conectar la parrilla.

Test de fugas en tanque LP

Por su seguridad

• Se debe repetir el test cada vez que cambie o rellene el

tanque

• No fume durante el test de fugas

• No use una llama para comprobar fugas

• La parrilla debe de comprobarse en el exterior en una

zona bien ventilada, lejos de focos de calor como fuego o

aparatos eléctricos. Durante un test de fugas, mantenga la

parrilla lejos de llamas o chispas.

Use un pincel y una solución al 50% de agua y jabón. Pinte

con la mezcla en las zonas pintadas abajo. Las fugas

producirán burbujas crecientes.

ATENCIÓN

Si aparecen burbujas crecientes, no use o mueva la

botella LP. Contacte con su proveedor de gas LP o

os bo

os.

▲No use agentes limpiadores del hogar. Puede

resultar en daños a los componentes de la botella

(válvula, manguera, regulador).

Conectar el regulador al tanque LP

1. El tanque LP debe de estar asegurado a la

parrilla. (Vaya a la sección montaje).

2. Apague todos los reguladores.

3. Cierre el tanque girando a fondo la rueda OPD en

el sentido de las agujas del reloj.

4. Retire el tapón protector de la válvula del tanque

LP. Siempre use el tapón y la tira que vienen con la

válvula.

No inserte un tapón de transporte

POL (parte de plástico con ranuras

externas) en la salida de tipo 1.

Causaría la inutilización de la

válvula de escape de seguridad.

5. Mantenga el regulador e inserte la tetina en la válvula

del tanque LP. Apriete la rosca aguantando el regulador en

línea recta con la válvula del tanque LP para no cerrar la

conexión.

La tetina tiene que estar

centrada con la válvula

del tanque LP.
